About the School Counselor
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. My name is Holly Ledbetter. I am Lockland City Schools new K-12 School Counselor for the 2018-2019 school year. I received my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Wilmington College and my Masters Degree in School Counseling from Wright State University. I am excited and honored to be joining this amazing team of educators and staff. I look forward to working with the students and their families and providing the help they need to succeed in meeting their academic and personal goals for this school year and beyond.
My goal is to provide a comprehensive developmental school counseling program for our students. As a counselor, I work to meet the academic, career, and social and emotional needs of all the students. I do this in a developmentally appropriate way that enables personal growth and academic success. I want to create an environment for all the students that I see as one that promotes trust and builds self-esteem. To ensure success for our students I want to work in a collaborative effort that includes our parents, teachers, and administrators. I hope to help each and every student obtain the best possible future for themselves.
