LES First Graders Celebrate the 100th Day of School

The First Grade celebrated the 100th Day of School on Monday, February 2nd!!! The day was celebrated doing activities that centered around the number 100. They made a 100 necklace using a pattern of 9 Cheerios and 1 Apple Jack, a name quilt on a 100 chart, and a 100 tally mark headband. They also flipped a coin 100 times and recorded the result onto a 100 chart. They then counted up how many heads and how many tails they got and wrote an equation to show the result of their flipping. The students had a great day celebrating 100 days of learning!
