Krista Blum is Lockland’s newest member of the School Board. She is a lifelong resident of the Village of Lockland and a graduate of Lockland High School, Class of 1990. Mrs. Blum lives with her husband, Josh, and their three children, Eric, Riley, and Reagan. Eric is a 2006 LHS graduate, Riley is in the sixth grade, and Reagan is in the third grade. Mrs. Blum is a volunteer coach for the Lockland Athletic Club and the Village Recreation, coaching softball, volleyball, basketball, and cheerleading. She is employed as the Finance Manager for the Village of Lockland and has 14 years of experience in public service and finance. Mrs. Blum’s goals as a member of the Board of Education are to work towards controlling spending, aggressively seek ways to save money for our district and most importantly, to ensure our children a quality education. She believes our School District’s survival and well-being are important to both Lockland and Arlington Heights.
