Students Recognized at District Lockland Cares Assembly

On Friday, December 7th, Lockland celebrated the first Lockland Cares assembly.  Students were nominated for Lockland Cares by students and staff members for displaying one of the core values (Caring, Citizenship, Trust, Responsibility, Respect or Achievement). The Pep Band played as students K-12 entered the High School gym. Takayla Gadberry, a 9th grader and Kaylee Green, a 6th grader, were the Lockland Cares logo design winners. Both students were recognized in front of the entire student body and were awarded tee shirts.  Fifty one students across the district were honored in front of their peers, received a plastic logo cup filled with candy, and signed the Lockland Cares banner. The honorees were then escorted to the cafeteria for a special ice cream sundae buffet. Please go to “Galleries” to see additional pictures.
