LHS Students Host Cinco de Mayo Celebration for Elementary Students

Mrs. Nancy Albrecht and students from her high school Spanish classes hosted a Cinco de Mayo celebration for students in grades 1-5 at Lockland Elementary School.  The high school students created and supervised five stations through which the elementary students rotated.  The stations included Mexican hat dancing and art activities such as making maracas, sombreros, paper flowers, and Mexican flags.  Each grade level enjoyed a 50 minute celebration where they had fun mading new friends and learning about the Mexican culture.
