Message From the Board

March 2008

March Madness….what is it about the term that applies to so much more than basketball? March seems to be the start to such a busy few months for so many people. We begin planning for spring breaks, summer trips, starting college, so on and so on. Hopefully everyone is surviving the up and down Cincinnati weather and dodging the nasty flu bug that has been invading the area. It is so hard to stay healthy while we are all so busy.

As our students (staff and admin) begin to get Spring Fever, I encourage everyone to take time to relax and remember what is important. Don’t rush so quickly towards the end of this academic year that we miss out on all the great things that will be happening. Check your school calendar for the many upcoming sports, extra curricular and academic activities that happen during the spring months. Also, whenever possible, encourage our students and staff and let them know you support them. This is a hectic time of year for everyone, and we can all use a pat on the back every now and then.

March is a very busy month for the board, as we begin reviewing the current school year and discussing plans for the upcoming year. Please remember that we always welcome your input and ideas. Please consider attending an upcoming board meeting, stop in the board office to fill out a suggestion form, or contact us to let us know what’s on your mind. We want to hear from you.
