U.S. News and World Report Names Lockland High School as a Bronze Medal Winner for the Second Year
Lockland High School has for the second year been awarded a bronze medal for outstanding test performance for all students, including the least advantaged.

Congratulations to the students, parents, and staff of Lockland High School for receiving a bronze medal in the U.S. News & World Report’s second annual list of America’s Best High Schools. America’s Best High Schools recognizes three categories of distinction: gold, silver, and bronze. Analysis is based on:
Standardized test performance
Proficiency rates of all students, including the least advantaged
Challenging college-ready curriculum
The bronze medal recognizes high schools that met the first two criteria of the America’s Best High Schools methodology, but not the third. These schools have demonstrated commendable performance on state tests, but did not perform well enough on the college readiness index to merit identification as a top-performing high school.
A complete list of American’s Best High Schools, as well as details about the analysis and the methodology used to develop the ranking, is available at www.usnews.com/highschools or www.schoolmatters.com. We encourage you to share the news with your students, parents and community.
Congratulations to Lockland High School and principal Ben Hubbard for achieving this great distinction two years in a row.
