The Lockland School District bullying prevention program is patterned after the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program. Our schools have trainings for students and staff in regards to how to prevent, identify, and respond to bullying situations.
School Rules Against Bullying
We will not bully others.
We will try to help students who are bullied.
We will make it a point to include students who are easily left out.
When we know somebody is being bullied, we will tell an adult at school and an adult at home.
What is Bullying?
An intentional gesture or a written, verbal, or physical act of threat that a student has exhibited toward another student more than once that harms a student, damages his or her property, or places them in reasonable fear of harm.
It must be severe, persistent, or pervasive enough to create an intimidating, threatening, or abusive educational environment.
