Read one article from Newsela and answer questions. Write one paragraph summary.

Complete Daily Passage (one a day)

Read selected book (1-2 chapters a day). Write down unfamiliar words and define.

Write an informational essay regarding the Coronavirus. Make certain to use proper organizational skills.

Complete 1 story out of Close Reader each day. Your choice.

8th Grade:

Complete Daily Passage and questions each day.

Read a book and write down any unknown words to define with web resources.

Complete a letter to me in relation to the story you are reading. Share with me what you liked, didn’t like, etc. Email me the letter.

Complete 1 story out of Close Reader a day. Make certain to answer all questions.

Write an informational essay on any pandemic that we have experienced.
