As the end of the school year pulls to a close, students turn their attention to the future. “What will next year be like? Who will be my teacher? Will I have friends in my class?” Along with these questions, students from the Annex may also be wondering, “ Where is the office? Where will I have Art, PE, or Music? Where will I go for lunch and recess?”
To help quell these concerns, the Annex students took a walking field trip to the Lockland Schools Main Campus. Annex students were given the building tour by sixth grade students. They were shown all the key places within the building and introduced to the staff they will rely on next school year.
The tour ended in the cafeteria where everyone learned how to go through the lunch line and enjoyed a snack.
The Annex students and staff are all very excited to move to the newly renovated building!
“So long Annex. It’s been fun. Look out Lockland! Here we come!”
