Lockland third-grade teacher Amy Siegmundt recently took her classroom experience beyond the walls of Lockland School District, joining fellow educators for an episode of Amplify's Beyond My Years podcast with Host Ana Torres and Classroom Insider Eric Cross.
The conversation focused on being a math facilitator and creating classrooms where students are encouraged to talk about their thinking, explore different approaches and learn through discussion.
One of Ms. Siegmundt's key messages captures that philosophy:
