In support of Black History Month, FC Cincinnati Foundation hosted the DAD Initiative (Directing Adolescent Development) at TQL Stadium for Black Futures. This event saw 220 teen students with the opportunity to speak with 60 volunteer Black professionals to engage Black students in candid conversations about their respective paths to success. Several students from Lockland High School attended the Black Futures Initiative on February 09, 2023.
“Black Futures” is designed to honor black history while also focusing forward by providing career exposure for black teenagers in the Greater Cincinnati area. The program offers a new and engaging way for black high school students to learn about potential career options directly from successful black professionals who have excelled in various fields.
